Counseling Services

Intake

The very first time we meet will be during the intake session to review forms, discuss the therapy process, and answer any questions you may have. This session also gives me the chance to get to know you so that we can develop a treatment plan together and discuss your therapy goals. This session is generally 60-90 minutes in length.

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is provided to individuals ages 8 and up. Sessions are once a week from 40 to 60 minutes. To meet individual goals, treatment plans are developed at intake and updated every 6 to 12 weeks. My counseling services address concerns or issues including, but not limited to: Anxiety, Shame, self-esteem, self-image, wellness, spirituality, mindfulness, adjustment, and change

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling is provided to couples in various stages of their relationship. Sessions are once a week from 45 to 50 minutes. To meet the goal of each couple, treatment plans are developed at intake and updated every 6 to 12 weeks. Ways I help couples include: conflict resolution, boundary setting, adjustment, intimacy, attachment, and communication difficulties.

Group for Women

Group therapy provides a space for women seeking support, personal growth, and connection with others who share similar experiences. Sessions are structured to address emotional well-being, stress management, and self-compassion while fostering a sense of community. Topics include navigating life transitions, building confidence, developing healthy boundaries, and strengthening resilience. This group is offered quarterly and is designed to provide a supportive environment where women can process challenges and feel empowered in their personal and emotional journeys.

Group for Caregivers

Support groups are a powerful space for caregivers of neurodivergent children who are navigating the daily weight of raising a child with complex needs. Groups are closed and typically meet for 60 minutes over 6 to 8 sessions, with a maximum of 10 participants to keep the space intimate and supportive. Together we explore what it means to advocate for your child, find community with others who understand, and remember that your needs matter too. Topics include navigating care before and after diagnosis, advocacy, caregiver burnout, and building sustainable self-care into your life.

  • Group for Black Mothers of Autistic Children

This group was created specifically for Black mothers of autistic children. Groups are closed and meet weekly for 60 minutes over 8 weeks, with a maximum of 10 participants to keep the space intimate and supportive. Over our time together we move through themes that reflect the fullness of your experience: the weight of caregiving, the grief and rage that do not always have a name, the systems you have had to fight, and who you are beyond the role of mother. You will leave knowing you are not alone and that there is more available to you than survival.
